Not only have they failed to fix the lifts after more than three weeks, but we are also forced to use the only functioning lift with constant anxiety that it may stop working at any moment. The only response we receive from the management is: "The replacement parts have been ordered." We are given no proper updates—only repetitive and dismissive replies like "We are waiting."

I have lived in this building for over 11 years. I have invested hundreds of thousands of pounds to enjoy a comfortable and well-managed home, but in recent years, I've been increasingly disappointed by the building management. The current issue with the lifts—along with other unresolved or worsening problems—has become increasingly serious. If we don't take action now, no one else will. We are prepared to escalate this matter to the council and beyond, even if it requires significant time and resources. Something must be done to ensure the management takes the well-being of residents seriously.

There has been a complete lack of consideration or urgency, and the management continues to ignore how deeply this situation has affected our everyday lives. We have elderly residents, people with medical conditions, and professionals with critical jobs who have been stuck in their flats for days due to this negligence.

Dear Neighbours,

As many of you have probably gathered from the latest communication by the building management, it seems they were not entirely transparent with us from the beginning. Instead of clearly informing all residents that the lift repairs were being handled through an insurance claim, they repeatedly stated that parts had been ordered—leaving many of us uncertain and waiting without clarity.

I've also found that many neighbours are still unaware of the true situation. When speaking with different residents, it's clear that everyone has a different understanding of why it has taken so long to resolve the issue. This confusion highlights the lack of clear and consistent communication from management.

Personally, my life was significantly affected during this time, and I know from the many messages I've received that others were too—especially when both lifts were out of service. This situation has impacted people's health, daily routines, and overall well-being.

I've started this petition to create a platform where we, as residents, can come together and communicate directly. Our goal is to ensure that we receive full and honest updates from the management about how situations are being handled. We deserve transparency and accountability.

Please also use this platform and the chat section I've added to share your concerns, updates, and suggestions. I will continue to improve the chat feature over time to make it more user-friendly and useful for everyone.

Additionally, I would like clarification on whether previous petitions submitted by residents have been properly filed and forwarded to the council, as part of the formal process to escalate our concerns.

I will continue to keep everyone updated as we move forward. Together, we can make sure our voices are heard and that we are not neglected.
